SHANGHAI, Dec. 22 (Xinhua) -- Gold futures closed lower Tuesday in daytime trading on the Shanghai Futures Exchange.
The most active gold contract for February 2021 delivery was down 3.08 yuan (about 47 U.S. cents) to close at 392.76 yuan a gram.
The total trading volume for eight listed gold futures contracts on the exchange was 235,457 lots, with a turnover of about 93.07 billion yuan.
