SHANGHAI, Jan. 13 (Xinhua) -- Gold futures closed higher Wednesday in daytime trading on the Shanghai Futures Exchange.
The most active gold contract for February 2021 delivery was up 2.86 yuan (about 44 U.S. cents) to close at 387.54 yuan a gram.
The total trading volume for seven listed gold futures contracts on the exchange was 206,524 lots, with a turnover of about 80 billion yuan.
