BEIJING, Jan. 15 (Xinhua) -- Ding Yanyuhang, still not playing in the current 2020-21 season of the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) league, was announced on Friday as one of the participants for the upcoming 3x3 basketball national team's training camp, the first edition in 2021.

After the 2017-18 CBA season, Ding went abroad to play for the Dallas Mavericks before being waived by the NBA club. He hasn't played a single CBA game since then, and missed out on the FIBA World Cup on home soil in 2019 due to injury.

Apart from Ding, the 15-player list for the men's team saw promising duo of Zhang Zhenlin (Liaoning) and Qi Lin (Xinjiang), and Zhejiang center Hu Jinqiu.

According to the CBA's notice, the report date of six players including Ding, Zhang, Qi and Hu is yet to be confirmed, while the remaining nine have to check in at Shandong Sports Training Center before 3 p.m. on January 19.

On the women's side, a total of 16 players were enlisted for the training camp between January 19 and April 18 to gear up for the Tokyo Olympic Games, featuring some prominent names as Wu Di and Gao Song.

Women's players are required to report at the Shanghai Sports Training Base Management Center before 6 p.m. on January 19. Enditem
