KUWAIT CITY, Jan. 18 (Xinhua) -- Kuwaiti Emir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah accepted on Monday the resignation of the government submitted by the prime minister, the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) reported.

According to an Amiri Decree, the Emir instructed the ministers to run urgent affairs until formation of a new government in the Gulf country that sees frequent cabinet reshuffles.
