SHANGHAI, Jan. 19 (Xinhua) -- Gold futures closed higher Tuesday in daytime trading on the Shanghai Futures Exchange.
The most active gold contract for June 2021 delivery was up 2.2 yuan (about 34 U.S. cents) to close at 387.72 yuan a gram.
The total trading volume for seven listed gold futures contracts on the exchange was 105,664 lots, with a turnover of about 40.9 billion yuan.
