ZHUJI, China, Jan. 23 (Xinhua) -- The Beijing Ducks overcame the Shandong Heroes with a 102-96 win in the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) here on Saturday.
Led by Fang Shuo, who scored 20 points and stood out to turn the tide in the last minutes, Beijing finished with five players in double digits. Lester Hudson of Shandong notched a game-high 27 points.
Shandong controlled the rhythm in the first half as Hudson kept attacking the rim, posting 20 points to help his team prevail 59-50 at halftime.
Beijing regrouped in the third quarter after Jonathan Gibson, who scored 20 points in 24 minutes, turned up the heat with two three-pointers.
