SHANGHAI, Jan. 27 (Xinhua) -- Gold futures closed lower Wednesday in daytime trading on the Shanghai Futures Exchange.
The most active gold contract for June 2021 delivery was down 2.64 yuan (about 41 U.S. cents) to close at 387.94 yuan a gram.
The total trading volume for seven listed gold futures contracts on the exchange was 156,247 lots, with a turnover of about 60.69 billion yuan.
