ZHUJI, China, Jan. 28 (Xinhua) -- The Shandong Heroes smashed the Shanxi Loongs 113-84 in the 35th round of the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) here on Thursday, delivering the fifth straight loss to Shanxi.

After Lester Hudson buried a series of three-pointers, Shandong grabbed a 30-20 lead in the first quarter.

Shanxi tried to narrow the gap in fast breaks, but the Heroes put a dampener on their rally and continued expanding their advantage.

Shandong made the gap come to 28 points with three minutes remaining, ending their two-game losing streak.

Hudson got a game-high 30 points for Shandong, while Chen Peidong finished with 19 points, Jia Cheng took 12 points and 10 rebounds, and Jiao Hailong added eight points and 11 rebounds.

For the Shanxi side, Ricardo Ledo scored a team-high 19 points and 10 rebounds, while Zhang Hanjun and Yuan Shuai each contributed 12 points. Enditem
