KHARTOUM, March 6 (Xinhua) -- Chairman of Sudan's Sovereign Council Abdel Fattah al-Burhan announced on Saturday that Sudan and Egypt have reached unified visions that serve progress and development of the two peoples and contribute to stability of the two countries.

Al-Burhan made the announcement following his talks with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi at the presidential palace in the capital Khartoum.

The Egyptian president's visit constitutes a real support to Sudan and the revolution of the Sudanese people, al-Burhan said.

"President Sisi's visit comes at a time when Sudan is passing through a transitional period of many difficulties that necessitate unifying efforts and support of friends and brothers," he added.

"We have discussed all the issues that are likely to support the cooperation," the Sudanese leader noted.

Sisi arrived in Khartoum earlier on Saturday for a one-day visit to Sudan, where the Egyptian leader also met with Sudanese Prime Minister Abdalla Hamdok and Deputy Chairman of Sudan's Sovereign Council Mohamed Hamdan Daqlu. Enditem
