SHANGHAI, March 8 (Xinhua) -- Gold futures closed higher Monday in daytime trading on the Shanghai Futures Exchange.
The most active gold contract for June 2021 delivery was up 1.88 yuan (about 29 U.S. cents) to close at 360.36 yuan a gram.
The total trading volume for seven listed gold futures contracts on the exchange was 235,536 lots, with a turnover of about 84.65 billion yuan.
