Soybean futures close lower

DALIAN, March 8 (Xinhua) -- No.1 soybean futures closed lower on Monday in daytime trading at the Dalian Commodity Exchange (DCE).

The most active No.1 soybean contract for May 2021 delivery dipped 85 yuan (about 13.12 U.S. dollars) to close at 6,200 yuan per tonne.

On Monday, the total trading volume of five listed No.1 soybean futures contracts on the exchange was 319,296 lots, with a turnover of 19.9 billion yuan.
