MADRID, April 7 (Xinhua) -- Granada face Manchester United, while Villarreal travel to play Dynamo Zagreb in the first leg of the quarter-finals of the Europa League on Thursday night.

Granada have been one of the surprises of the tournament, reaching the last eight in their first-ever European adventure, but face a difficult task against the side currently second in the Premier League.

Manchester United have already beaten one Spanish rival, knocking out Real Sociedad in the round of 32 back in February, although they had the advantage that travel restrictions were then in place due to the coronavirus, meant the 'Spanish' leg of their tie was played in Turin rather than in San Sebastian.

Granada should have Luis Suarez back after injury and although there are some doubts over Kenedy, the Brazilian should be fit to play arguably the biggest game in the club's history.

Fede Vico, Quini, and Adrian Marin will all miss out as they are not included in the club's European squad, while Alberto Soro and Luis Milla are both injured.

Manchester United are without central defender Eric Bailly who has been unable to return to the UK after contracting COVID-19 on international duty.

Villarreal travel to Croatia in high spirits after a 3-0 win in Granada at the weekend, which means they have won their last five games in all competitions. The win came thanks to a hat-trick from Spain international striker, Gerard Moreno, who is the top-scoring Spanish player in La Liga with 19 goals so far this season.

Villarreal have nine wins and a draw in the Europa League this season and will be favorites to continue to the semi-finals, but Dinamo produced one of the surprises of the last round when they fought back to beat Tottenham and they have won their last four home games in Europe. Enditem
