SHANGHAI, April 8 (Xinhua) -- Crude oil futures closed lower Thursday in daytime trading on the Shanghai International Energy Exchange.
The most active crude oil contract for May 2021 delivery was down 5.8 yuan (about 89 U.S. cents) to close at 383.5 yuan a barrel.
The total trading volume for 13 listed crude oil futures contracts on the exchange was 212,413 lots, with a turnover of about 82 billion yuan.
