China's Xinhua, Russia's TASS discuss cooperation

BEIJING, April 15 (Xinhua) -- Heads of China's Xinhua News Agency and Russia's TASS news agency met Thursday via video link, and the two sides agreed to strengthen exchanges and cooperation.

He Ping, Xinhua's president and editor-in-chief, hailed the long-standing partnership between Xinhua and Tass, which has lasted 65 years, during his meeting with TASS Director General Sergei Mikhailov.
