China's gold reserves at 62.64 mln ounces by end-May

BEIJING, June 14 (Xinhua) -- China's gold reserves stood at 62.64 million ounces at the end of May, unchanged from that at the end of April, central bank data showed.

The reserves had remained at the level for 20 months.

Official data also showed that China's foreign exchange reserves came in at 3.2218 trillion U.S. dollars at the end of last month. Enditem
