China's Yunnan reports 21 imported confirmed COVID-19 cases

KUNMING, July 30 (Xinhua) -- Southwest China's Yunnan Province reported 21 imported confirmed COVID-19 cases on Thursday, the provincial health commission said Friday.

All imported confirmed cases lived in Myanmar before entering Yunnan through land checkpoints between July 4 and July 28. They tested positive for coronavirus on Thursday while under quarantine.

Yunnan reported no locally transmitted COVID-19 confirmed cases or asymptomatic carriers on Thursday, the provincial health commission noted.

By the end of Thursday, there were 366 confirmed COVID-19 cases still hospitalized in Yunnan, including 63 locally transmitted cases and 303 imported ones. There were also 28 asymptomatic cases, among whom 26 were imported. Enditem
