GUANGZHOU, Dec. 2 (Xinhua) -- Guangdong beat Hebei 3-1 in Jiangmen, south China's Guangdong province on Thursday for its fifth straight win in the Chinese Women's Volleyball League.

Wang Yifan notched 25 points, and Chen Peiyan and Li Yao added 20 and 19 respectively as Guangdong scored the 25-14, 25-15, 24-26, 25-9 victory against Hebei, who has lost all five matches so far.

Shandong swept Sichuan 3-0 (25-15, 25-16, 25-13) to improve to a 3-2 win-loss record. Sun Jie led Shandong with 17 points and Yang Hanyu contributed 12.

In the other match on Thursday, Zhejiang beat Yunnan in straight sets (25-20, 25-21, 25-15). Zhu Yuezhou had 16 points and Chen Xiyue added 15 for Zhejiang, who out-blocked Yunnan 13-6. Enditem
