JIANGMEN, China, Dec. 3 (Xinhua) -- Beijing and Henan both suffered their fifth straight loss in Group B of the Chinese Women's Volleyball League here on Friday.

Neither team has registered a single victory this season. 2018-19 season champion Beijing has made a most awkward record in franchise history, winning only one set out of all 16 played.

Fujian's Lin Yuexin got a game-high 19 points, while her teammates Zhuang Yushan and Zheng Yixin added 14 and 11 points respectively to help their side beat Beijing 25-19, 25-18 and 25-20.

Liaoning spiker Duan Fang was on fire, hitting 34 points to help her side overcome Henan through a tough five-set (25-18, 24-26, 25-23, 23-25, 15-10) fight.

Henan's Cai Xiaoqing got a team-high 28 points. Han Wenya also contributed 27 points.

Elsewhere on Friday, Shenzhen rested most of their regular starters when facing group leader Shanghai, and was outperformed by their opponents in straight sets 25-15, 15-16, 25-11. Enditem
