HONG KONG, Jan. 13 (Xinhua) -- Hong Kong police said on Thursday that it will start the force-wide implementation of the Chinese-style foot drill from July 1.

Apart from ceremonial events and passing-out parades, officers of all levels will adopt the protocols of Chinese-style foot drill for daily routines, such as saluting, according to Hong Kong police.

On Dec. 30, the Hong Kong Police College launched an e-learning course on Chinese-style foot drill, which comprises an introduction on the implementation and application of Chinese-style foot drill, key differences between Chinese and British-style foot drills, as well as basic knowledge and skills of drill movements.
