BEIJING, Jan. 22 (Xinhua) -- China's road logistics price index edged down last week, industrial data showed.
The index stood at 1,002.5 points in the week ending on Jan. 21, down 1.01 percent from the previous week, according to a survey jointly conducted by the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing and the Guangdong Lin'an Logistics Group.
The demand for road logistics was generally stable, while the supply of transport capacity rose slightly, leading to the decrease of the price index, according to the federation.
The federation predicted that the price index may see more frequent fluctuations because the road logistics market enters an adjustment period as the Spring Festival holiday approaches. Enditem
