BEIJING, April 10 (Xinhua) -- China's document scanner market reported a strong recovery in 2021, with annual shipments up 9.7 percent from a year earlier, data from an industry report showed.

The shipments of document scanners totaled 461,000 units last year, according to the report released by global market research firm International Data Corporation (IDC).

Domestic brands registered robust expansion in the market, shipping 92,000 units in the period, up 46.2 percent year on year, according to the report.

IDC data also showed that the compound annual growth rate of domestic brands in the market reached 20.8 percent over the past five years, while that for international brands stood at 4.6 percent. Enditem
