SHANGHAI, May 18 (Xinhua) -- Crude oil futures closed lower Wednesday in daytime trading on the Shanghai International Energy Exchange.
The most active crude oil contract for July 2022 delivery was down 12.4 yuan (about 1.84 U.S. dollars) to close at 704 yuan a barrel.
The total trading volume for 11 listed crude oil futures contracts on the exchange was 254,064 lots, with a turnover of about 182.27 billion yuan.
