LONG MARCH-7 Y5 CARRIER
Debris from the last stage of the Long March-7 Y5 carrier rocket reentered the atmosphere at 5:34 p.m. on Wednesday (Beijing Time), the China Manned Space Agency said.
The vast majority of the device burned up during reentry and the debris fell into the sea, with the center of the landing area at a latitude of 37.5 degrees north and a longitude of 24.2 degrees east, according to an agency statement.
MICROPLASTICS IN QINGHAI-TIBET PLATEAU
The discovery of microplastics on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau has not only resulted in some unexpected revelations but also shed light on the global transmission of pollutants.
A new study that analyzed these tiny particles in the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau and other key regions has found that microplastics are posing a threat to typical remote cryospheric regions, according to the Northwest Institute of Eco-Environment and Resources (NIEER), Chinese Academy of Sciences.

The BRICS Joint Committee on Space Cooperation was officially launched on Wednesday, opening a new chapter on their cooperation in the remote sensing satellite observation and data sharing fields.
