XI'AN, Sept. 1 (Xinhua) -- Moses Ogbu has joined China League One side Shaanxi Chang'an Athletic, the club revealed on Wednesday.
The 31-year-old striker is a dual national of Sweden and Nigeria, and stands 1.85-meters tall.
Starting his senior career with IK Sirius in 2010, he scored 62 goals in 195 games for the Swedish club.
Before Ogbu joined Chinese Super League outfit Wuhan Three Towns in 2021, he played for Al Ain of the United Arab Emirates, English fourth-tier outfit Grimsby Town and Swedish club Mjallby.
Last season, Ogbu helped Wuhan Three Towns win China League One, scoring 19 goals. Ogbu's most recent club was a brief spell at South Korean club Pohang Steelers.
"We thank Ogbu for joining us when we are facing difficulties," read a statement by Shaanxi Chang'an Athletic.
Faced with financial difficulties Chang'an Athletic have seen several players leave this season, but the club has remained unbeaten in their last 11 games in China League One, the country's second tier football league, and currently sit fourth in the table, 11 points off the top. Enditem
