HEALTH STUDY
A famous health tip says you'd better drink eight glasses of water (about two liters) a day. However, the results of a new study suggest that less is needed.
An international group led by scientists at the Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Technology in China found that the average daily water intake of a man in his twenties should be 1.5 to 1.8 liters, while it should be 1.3 to 1.4 liters for a female in the same age group.
PLATEAU LAKE DATASET
China's National Tibetan Plateau Data Center has recently issued and shared a dataset of lake-catchment characteristics on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, announced Lanzhou University.
A research team from the Center for the Pan-third Pole Environment of Lanzhou University conducted the dataset. It provides fundamental data for the study of lakes on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau.
DEEP SPACE EXPLORATION
The China National Space Administration (CNSA) began to solicit important scientific questions worldwide in deep space exploration.
The solicitation aims to promote the development of deep space exploration, form an international consensus on scientific questions in this field, and solve common problems and challenges facing the humankind, the CNSA added. Enditem
