BEIJING, Dec. 5 (Xinhua) -- Forward Lin Liangming's brace led Dalian Pro to win over Beijing Guoan 3-1 in the 29th round of the Chinese Super League (CSL) on Monday.

Beijing's offense was crippled by the absence of striker Zhang Yuning, who ranked third on this season's CSL top scorer list with 17 goals so far. In the game with Dalian, Beijing had more possession of the ball, but no player was able to break the deadlock in the first half.

In the 49th minute, Lin received a favorable free kick from teammate Fei Yu and netted a header. About half an hour later, the 25-year-old fired in front of the penalty area to put Dalian ahead 2-0.

Beijing goalkeeper Hou Sen blundered outside the box and gifted another goal for Dalian in the 88th minute, which was scored by Lyu Peng, who wore Beijing jersey from January 2017 to March 2021.

During the stoppage time of the second half, Chi Zhongguo assisted Wang Ziming to score for Beijing, but it was too late to turn the table.

Beijing head coach Stanley Menzo said he was disappointed but believed that the team could work together to go through the current difficulties. In the next round, Beijing will confront Hebei FC on Saturday.

Other action saw Meizhou Hakka trounce Hebei FC 4-0, while Tianjin Jinmen Tiger drew 0-0 with Guangzhou FC, Shanghai Shenhua lost to Zhejiang FC 2-0, and Henan Songshan Longmen beat Chengdu Rongcheng 1-0. Enditem
