BEIJING, Feb. 3 (Xinhua) -- China's State Council announced the appointment and removal of officials on Friday.

Zhang Yuzhuo was appointed chairman of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, replacing Hao Peng.

Yan Jun was named deputy head of the State Administration for Market Regulation.

Jin Yanli took the post of deputy head of the National Public Complaints and Proposals Administration.

Liu Haitao became deputy head of the National Immigration Administration.

Peng Xiaoguo was named deputy head of the National Forestry and Grassland Administration (National Park Administration).

Yan Chengyi was appointed deputy head of China Geological Survey.

Jin Luo became vice chairperson of the National Council for Social Security Fund.

Zhong Denghua was removed from the post of vice education minister.

Zhang Xiaohong no longer serves as vice minister of housing and urban-rural development.

Xu Lin was removed from the post of head of the National Radio and Television Administration.

Zhuang Guotai no longer serves as head of the China Meteorological Administration.

Liu Dongsheng and Li Shuming were removed from their posts of deputy heads of the National Forestry and Grassland Administration (National Park Administration). Enditem
