BEIJING, May 13 (Xinhua) -- Wuhan Three Towns and Shanghai Shenhua had to settle for a point apiece as they battled out a thrilling draw in the 2023 Chinese Super League (CSL) on Saturday.

Shanghai's Joao Teixeira converted a 24th-minute penalty for his maiden CSL goal following Wuhan defender Liu Yiming's foul on Aidi Fulangxisi. Deng Hanwen grasped a chance to score an equalizer before the break.

Shanghai Shenhua remains top of the standings with an unbeaten record after seven matches.

In Saturday's other game, Frank Acheampong scored twice to help Shenzhen FC rally past Dalian Pro 2-1.

Shenzhen had gone winless in the past five games. Cesar Lobi Manzoki broke the deadlock in the 10th minute for Dalian, while Acheampong restored parity before halftime from Zhang Yuan's headed pass.

Acheampong netted the winner from close range following Li Ning's cut-back in injury time. Enditem
