Olympic champs Zhang, Wang to lead China's squad for Fukuoka World Aquatics Championships

BEIJING, May 26 (Xinhua) -- The Chinese Swimming Association has named a 41-strong squad for the 2023 World Aquatics Championships in Fukuoka, Japan this summer.

Olympic champions Zhang Yufei, Wang Shun and Li Bingjie will spearhead the star-studded team's assault in the pool.

The World Aquatics Championships in Fukuoka will feature 75 medal events across six aquatics sports - swimming, artistic swimming, open water swimming, diving, high diving and water polo - with the event's 17 days of competition running from July 14 to 30.
