BEIJING, May 31 (Xinhua) -- Chinese striker Afrden Asqer said on Wednesday that he is making efforts to adapt himself to an unfamiliar system and an unsuitable position in Mjallby AIF.

Afrden conveyed his ongoing struggle to fit in since joining Sweden's top-flight club at the end of March.

"I'm currently occupying a new position, playing as a midfielder for the number eight player, which I find unsuitable for me," the 19-year-old said.

"To be frank, the system of my team isn't quite conducive for me. However, each coach has his own tactical considerations; all I can do is strive to adapt," Afrden, who used to play as a winger in China, explained.

"My attitude is that I'll try my utmost to perform well in any position my head coach assigns to me, though it's indeed challenging," he added. Enditem
