CHENGDU, Aug. 4 (Xinhua) -- China swept two synchro diving golds at the Chengdu Universiade here on Friday, in women's synchronized 3m springboard and mixed synchronized 10m platform.
Chen Jia and Yang Ruilin dominated in women's synchronized 3m springboard final and locked the gold with 330.75 points by a large leading margin. Teams of Malaysia and Italy finished second and third, respectively.
"We have paired several times in the competition. We train, eat, and sleep together every day, naturally leading to a tacit understanding," said Chen Jia.
In the mixed synchronized 10m platform final, Wang Weiying and Wang Binhan compiled 331.26 points to take the gold, 20.82 points clear of silver medalists Japanese duo Karen Yamasaki and Reo Nishida. The bronze went to Kim Na-hyun and Shin Jung-whi from South Korea.
China has tallied all the nine gold medals so far at the ongoing diving competitions.
