HONG KONG, Oct. 25 (Xinhua) -- China's Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) will relax relevant visa policy to attract talents from Vietnam, Laos and Nepal, HKSAR Chief Executive John Lee said Wednesday.

Starting Wednesday, the HKSAR will relax the visa policy in respect of employment for Vietnamese talents and the criteria for Vietnamese applying for "multiple-entry visas" for business and travel, Lee said while delivering his second policy address to the HKSAR Legislative Council.

The HKSAR will also relax the visa policy for Lao and Nepali talents for employment, training and study in University Grants Committee-funded institutions, he said.

The HKSAR will implement a capital investment entrant scheme, under which eligible investors who make investments of 30 million Hong Kong dollars or above in assets such as stocks, funds, bonds can apply for entry into Hong Kong, he said. Enditem
