BEIJING, April 30 (Xinhua) -- Chinese forward Behram Abduweli said he was unable to sleep well for three days after wasting a scoring chance in a group game against South Korea during the U23 Asian Cup earlier this month.

The 21-year-old striker was put on a solo run by a through pass from teammate in the 15th minute of that game on April 19, only to see his shot blocked by the South Korean goalkeeper.

"To be honest, I didn't get enough sleep for three days after that match, keeping thinking about the reasons for my failed shot," he said.

"I still need to work hard to be more clinical before the goal. The number six player of the South Korean team, Lee Young-jun, did well in this aspect and is a good example for me," he said.

Lee scored twice from as many scoring chances the South Korean side created throughout the game for a 2-0 win over China.

China failed to reach the knockout stage as they lost to Japan and South Korea before beating the United Arab Emirates in their group games. Enditem
