JINAN, May 4 (Xinhua) -- Shandong Taishan's three-game winning streak came to a halt as they settled for a goalless draw against Qingdao West Coast, while Henan FC suffered a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Tianjin Jinmen Tiger in the Chinese Super League (CSL) on Saturday.

Neither team managed to break the deadlock in the match, with Qingdao's center-back Varazdat Haroyan playing a pivotal role in securing their defense until the final whistle, as Shandong's relentless 20 shots throughout the game failed to find the net.

In the 72nd minute, Cryzan's pass led to Piao Shihao's handball inside the penalty area, but Shandong squandered their best chance to alter the scoreline as his penalty struck the crossbar.

In the other fixture of the day, Henan faced Tianjin on home turf. They got off to a dream start with Liu Bin finding the net from close range. However, Tianjin's goalkeeper Fang Jingqi denied Nemanja Covic's penalty in the 41st minute.

Tianjin managed to equalize in the 63rd minute through Guo Hao's header, before Han Pengfei's second header fifteen minutes later secured the victory for Tianjin.

Following the match, Tianjin halted their losing streak and temporarily climbed to 6th place in the league standings. Enditem
