BEIJING, June 21 (Xinhua) -- President of Xinhua News Agency Fu Hua met with Shakhrat Nuryshev, ambassador of Kazakhstan to China, in Beijing on Friday.

Noting that the two heads of state have jointly established the new goal of building a community with a shared future for China and Kazakhstan, Fu said as China's national news agency and a global news agency, Xinhua is willing to deepen friendly exchanges with mainstream media in Kazakhstan, actively report on the new developments of Kazakhstan's modernization, and tell the stories of win-win cooperation and friendly people-to-people exchanges between the two countries.

Fu said that the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit will be held in Kazakhstan in July, and Xinhua will fully tap into its global presence and international communication advantages to make timely, comprehensive, and in-depth coverage of the summit.

Noting Xinhua is a world-renowned news organization, Nuryshev said he is pleased to see the continuous development of friendly cooperation between Kazakh media outlets and Xinhua.
