Chinese shares close lower Wednesday

BEIJING, Aug. 14 (Xinhua) -- Chinese stocks closed lower on Wednesday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index down 0.6 percent to 2,850.65 points.

The Shenzhen Component Index closed 1.17 percent lower at 8,311 points. Enditem
