Chinese shares lower at midday Wednesday

BEIJING, Sept. 4 (Xinhua) -- China's major stock indices were lower in the morning session Wednesday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index down 0.48 percent to 2,789.39 points.

The Shenzhen Component Index went down 0.1 percent to 8,259.61 points at midday. Enditem
