BEIJING, July 20 (Xinhua) -- A 7.2-magnitude earthquake jolted the far offshore area east of the Kamchatka Peninsula at 2:49 p.m. Sunday (Beijing Time), according to the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC).
The epicenter was monitored at 52.90 degrees north latitude and 160.45 degrees east longitude. The quake struck at a depth of 10 km, said the CENC. Enditem
