New houses are seen in Beichuan in 2011. Beichuan Qiang Autonomous County is situated in Sichuan, southwest China. It is among the most severely hit of all disaster regions following the 2008 Sichuan earthquake. About 80 percent of the county's buildings collapsed. The survivors of the quake were relocated as their houses were vulnerable after the earthquake. Under the aid-partnership plan, Shandong Province paired up with Beichuan to help it finish relocation and rebuilding as soon as possible. [Photo by Chen Xiangzhao]
