Adjust font size:

The British Royal National Lifeboat Institution handed over two of its high-tech rescue boats to the Shanghai-based salvage bureau last Friday, as part of a five-year agreement for sea rescue cooperation between the two parties, Shanghai Daily reported.

The Ministry of Communication had imported six such high-speed lifeboats from the British institution since last September.

The boats are now serving in the East China Sea, the South China Sea as well as in Bohai Sea.
