Dongying economic and technological development zone, in Dongying City, Shandong Province, carries forward the construction of platform for investment, logistics, and infrastructure to build itself the high-end industry zone.

With the total investment of 3 billion yuan (US$ 471.3 million), the area has auxiliary area of 50 square kilometers, green area of 1.7 million square meters, 208-kilometer road open to traffic and formed improved public network infrastructures.

The treatment of drainage water reaches 40,000 tons each day in the zone.

In the first ten month this year, the industrial output value above the designated size totaled 90.5 billion yuan (US$ 14.2 billion) and main business revenue reached 83.6 billion yuan (US$ 13.1 billion) in the development zone, 43.5% and 54.9% increases respectively.

The profits was 5.7 billion yuan (US$ 895.5 million), and the profit and tax totaled 9.1 billion yuan (US$ 1.4 billion), 54.1% and 51.6% increases respectively.
