China's Ruili adds more COVID-19 risk areas

​Ruili City in southwest China's Yunnan Province on Monday added three high-risk and three medium-risk areas for COVID-19 outbreak.

Ruili City in southwest China's Yunnan Province on Monday added three high-risk and three medium-risk areas for COVID-19 outbreak.

The border city now has three high-risk areas and six medium-risk areas, according to the city's epidemic prevention and control headquarters.

Ruili has reported dozens of locally-transmitted COVID-19 cases since March 30. Local authorities on March 31 launched a citywide nucleic acid testing drive and urged residents to observe home quarantine.

The city reported 15 new locally-transmitted COVID-19 cases and five new asymptomatic cases on Sunday, the provincial health commission of Yunnan said on Monday.
