4月23日是第19个世界读书日，北京三联韬奋书店“24小时书店”正式挂牌。
4月18日，三联书店总经理樊希安致信国务院总理李克强，介绍该书店创办北京首家24小时书店的情况。樊希安在信中说，从4月8日夜到4月16日夜试运营效果良好，午夜时段来购书读书的全是年轻人。
信寄出之后的第四天下午，樊希安接到李克强的回信。李克强在信中说，为读者提供“深夜书房”，这很有创意，是对“全民阅读”的生动践行。
