Security tightened ahead of G20 summit

Editor's note: On Sept. 4 and 5, leaders from the 20 largest economies in the world will meet for the G20 Summit in Hangzhou, in east China's Zhejiang Province. Currently, the host city is finalizing security measures in various areas, including at West Lake, an internationally famous tourist destination. From Aug. 10 to Sep. 6, passengers who travel by railway or waterway from other places to Hangzhou will face multiple security checks at entry and exit points. There will be partial or complete closures of areas during the summit period. People living or working inside these closed areas must show their identity cards and motor vehicles must hold a special pass issued for the G20 Summit.
