图为新闻中心公共工作区一角（6月3日摄）。新闻中心媒体工作区域可使用面积为10500平方米，可为3000名注册记者提供完善服务。上海合作组织青岛峰会新闻中心将于6月6日正式开放，为境内外媒体注册记者提供服务。据介绍，新闻中心总建筑面积约3.5万平方米，设立取证中心、咨询台、公共工作区、新闻发布厅、会议采访、通信保障等29个工作小组，职能涵盖媒体接待、采访、通信、交通、医疗、安全等全方位保障。[新华社 李紫恒 摄]
