Diagonal crossing option a first for pedestrians in Beijing
8月19日，俯瞰北京市首个全向十字路口。该路口位于石景山区鲁谷西街与政达路交叉处，当人行道的绿灯亮起，十字路口所有方向的机动车都会变为红灯，行人不仅可以走到马路对面，还可以沿着对角线走到马路斜对面，减少二次过街等候时间。[中新社 贾天勇 摄]
A new pedestrian crossing layout at the intersection of Lugu West Road and Zhengda Road in Shijingshan District, Beijing, Aug. 19, 2018. When given the green light, pedestrians can choose to cross the intersection diagonally to get to the opposite corner in addition to simply crossing from one side of the road to the other.
