8月22日，向全球征集创作的26件雕塑作品亮相甘肃民勤县的大沙漠中，展现自然与艺术的完美结合。作品采用GRC、不锈钢、碳钢板、铸铁、铸铜、石材、水泥等材质，充分展现雕塑的艺术魅力、沙漠的浩瀚壮观以及民勤防沙治沙深厚的文化蕴涵。[中新社 杨艳敏 摄]
Twenty-six sculptures collected from around the world are on show in a desert in Minqin County, Northwest China's Gansu Province, Aug. 22, 2018. The sculptures have been made from varying materials, including stainless steel, cast iron, stone and cement, and they reveal the ever-present nature of sand and its control in the county.
