Rare seals released to sea in NE China
4月11日，农业农村部、辽宁省人民政府在大连举行斑海豹放归活动，24只此前被非法盗捕的斑海豹被放归大海。2月11日，大连警方破获一起重大盗捕野生斑海豹案，在当场查获的100只野生斑海豹幼体中，有29只已死亡。虽经全力抢救，但因过度受惊等原因，后续又有10只斑海豹幼体死亡。据了解，第一批放归的24只斑海豹经过专家和兽医评估已具备野外生存能力，其余斑海豹通过评估后也将被放归大海。[新华社记者 潘昱龙 摄]
