This is an original comedy by Elyse Ribbons and a send-up of a Beijing theater company that's trying to produce Shakespeare's “The Taming of the Shrew” with an international cast. Cross-cultural misunderstandings coupled with trans-continental romantic blunders will create a riot on stage. Several interesting ingredients such as sexual tension and Chinglish (Chinese English) will add more fun to the play. China.org.cn is a media sponsor.
