On-line Medical Treatment Banned
The Ministry of Health (MOH) recently published the "On-line Medical and Health Information Service Management Method" in order to standardize these activities on the Internet.

The MOH requires that medical information websites must be approved by the health administrative department before applying for the operation license. The Method provides that all the health information websites are forbidden to engage in on-line diagnosis and treatment except for providing health consulting service, and the long-distance medical consultation via the Internet, as a kind of medical behavior, can only be conducted among medical institutions with operational licenses.
